WednesdayYellow - Letting Go and Empowering Ourselves

in macrophotography •  7 years ago

I grew up in the modern world - probably most of us have -
where schools, governments,  doctors,
and everything on the outside of us had all the answers.

We didn't delight in life as learning,
as "education" was perceived to happen during the 9 months
of sitting in a classroom regurgitating force fed information.

We needed to ask the government permission
to get married and divorced, to "drive" our cars, and even to feed the homeless.
We had them keep track of our financial affairs, our travel to other countries,
the birth of our children, the contents of the food we eat,
and the overall health and well-being of our families.

Women rarely had "natural" birth,
children were all fluoridated and immunized, boys circumcised,
and regular check-ups for everyone was the way to stay in tune with our bodies.

Gratefully times are changing,
and we can see through the facade
where the answers lie with the institutions,
pharmaceuticals, food pyramids, court systems,
and other entities we have given our lives to.

Even if we haven't figured out what to do about
all of these engrained scenarios we have adopted,
we can begin right now being responsible for our own health.
We can take back our own power and tune into our own bodies.
We can decide what is in our best interests and what is not.
We can look for our own solutions for health and longevity,
and trust that nature has been here from the beginning to support our thrival.

Quote from "Full Spectrum Health" - author @quinneaker

It isn't always easy to trust the self,
especially since we are so accustomed to looking to others for the answers to our problems.
Sometimes their answers appear to be the quickest, easiest, most convenient ways,
though they are often mere bandaids that mask the core issue
that created our illness/problems in the first place.
Most often these "solutions" perpetuate the issue,
and compound the complications by further taxing our unhealthy bodies.

To thrive we must become empowered to let go of much of what we have learned, and instead engage the healthiest, most natural and sustainable long-term solutions for our own bodies.

The answers are at our fingertips,
we just must first be willing to let go of the fear of our own empowerment.

Oh yeah....something to stretch into every moment! Thanks for always shining the light on possibilities @quinneaker. <3

Yes letting go will be always a lesson in our life and with the death we let go everything and realize that we never had been this what we thought our whole life. We had been told all life who we are, who we should be, how we should not be haha :) but the more aware we are of who we really are, the more we can let go of all the borders, that keep us away from our true identity, we are just observers of this beautiful film called life <3 thanks for your being sister!

Indeed here we are! Every moment an opportunity for returning to wholeness. Grateful to be doing it with you @shaktisun!

I resonate with this message deeply!
I Love what you share here,
"To thrive we must become empowered to let go of much of what we have learned, and instead engage the healthiest, most natural and sustainable long-term solutions for our own bodies."
Yes yes yes! Thank you for your vision and your message.
I am on board with you siStar!!
May we All realeyes the Blessings of this moment and gift that we have to be aware of the lies and to CHANGE!
In Peace & Love always

I love that we both share the importance of BEing the change. Truly the scariest part is relying on ourselves after decades of being brainwashed to believe we are incapable. Holding space for each other and sharing the valuable possibilities we are aware of is a blessing we can gift each other.

I so appreciate your comment @onewithearth, and am grateful to share with you. <3

Yes, one of the hardest tests we face... Our own self doubt. Community support is crucial as we learn and grow.
Thankful and grateful for the spaces held for myself and others as we remember our way hOme 💙

It is indeed quite the challenge! Surrounding ourselves with others on this journey can really make the difference. I'm glad you've found me here @onewithearth!

Sunshine yellow is my favorite color for a kitchen. Happy, Bright, Inviting, and it just inspires the creations of healthy vibrant food :-)

Mine too!!! I had mine the colors of this flower once. Such a cheery and joyous feeling atmosphere. We're on the same page @kimberleighfl! Again!

@everlove , this is somewhat a moment of reflection for me. To thrive and forge ahead in this life where we do everything at the mercy of the government, we have to engage our inner strength to be in control because our destiny is in our competence.

Isn't that the truth! If we can't count on ourselves to create the life of our choosing, who can we count on? It is time for this awakening and for us all to come together and make it so. I'm glad you've found your way here @kingsolo!

I am so glad I did found my way here. A day without visiting your blog seem to be incomplete.

Awe...then I guess we will be seeing a lot more of each other!!! Divine alignment!

Thank you @rasel786.

It’s a shame that the government has allowed food and drug companies to be more concerned with their financial, bottom lines than the health of the people they serve.

It is indeed @coincussion. And when we realize we are the government, and by our daily choices we are supporting all that we say we do not want, then we can be empowered to make change. Without our supporting the drug companies and the poisonous food industry, they would not exist. It's up to us to be the change.

Thanks for sharing these incredible photos!
