Here is my Thursday's contribution to @juliank's @photocontests under the category #macrophotography.

Photo taken by Nikon D5000.

We are likened to these bubbles within a bubble. We are all enclosed in this #steemit world. Although we are in it, we are still able to keep our own bubble, our own identify. Some have build a bigger network and some are just starting to that's why there's a difference in our reach (in other words earnings and/or influence). We have created our own bubble with bubbles in it.

However, like this glass, we could easily break and the shards and pieces can be deadly. It cuts through and we bleed.

This was a drinking glass that may make someone trypophobic (I'm warning you, don't google that word if you don't know it yet). Suffice it to say that trypophobia is the fear of clustered small holes just like what you see in the photo. I think I may be one because the first I saw a picture of it and learned what trypophobia is I was traumatized that it still gives me goosebumps and chills. It makes me shudder it's hard to shake it off. However, if you are brave enough go ahead and google TRYPOPHOBIA. Although the more I say it or typed it, the word has a nice ring to it.

I was admiring this glass and took pictures of it. It was the pattern these circles made at the base of the glass that attracted me to it. I was so engrossed with my picture taking that I accidentally tripped it and failed to catch it before it fell and shattered on the floor.

What do you fear? Do you have phobias?

Side Note: I am into commenting spree at this time and cannot upvote because I'm down to almost nil. That will take a long time for it to reach 100% lol! So in the meantime, I'm just commenting and resteem some.

I believe I don't this phoebia.. it looks normal to me and I don't feel any. just the beauty of this photo.

Good for you :)

I know what you mean about low voting power. My goal is to get more but i keep upvoting anyway. Innovation macro @leeart.

I did that too but I want my vote to have more weight so I can give more power.

I should lay off for a couple days to get my voting power up.

i still googled it hahaha. i think it depends on the photo for me to get scared, your photo is awesome , i cant take pics like that hehe.

I think i am claustrophobic 😥

Indeed. We all have different phobias :)

I guess I have that phobia too. When I saw the picture, I felt the hair on my skin goes up. hehe

I regret posting it haha!

I googled it and its a skin disease. :( I have Acrophobia fear of heights.

I have that fear, too! But more like fear of falling.

Excellent comparrison :-) I suppose all constructs have their weaknesses in many wys, as do people.

Trypophobia! Yes, that's me right there lol ;-) Gives me sudders when I see clustered holes like that, particularly on an otherwise perfect surface. I once saw an artwork that was a delicately carved eggshell full of holes and while it was very arty and clever, it also totally freaked me out!

Every time I encounter the word, it freaks me out. Even writing this gives me chills. Now I am regretting even referring that word here lol!

It gets like that doesn't it lol ;-) Keep reminding myself not to dwell upon those images and yet they they are ;-)
