This week I will go for #insectpub with series of photos taken recently of hoverfly.
The very first succesful macro shot of insect that I had was the one of the hoverfly. The little fly that looks like bee and hovers above the flowers is very attractive once you see it closer.
This little guy was hovering above the flowers on my balcony. I was waiting patiently to see where it will stop. It was on the alyssum and then on the sage.

That green leaf is the sage. And it gives a nice contrast to the insect.
But I will finish the post with the hoverfly and the white alyssum.
