IN THE FACE OF A LIZARD

in macrophotography •  7 years ago

Before we let this beautiful Prairie Lizard go, we wanted to try to get some macro shots.

I'm still really impressed with this new camera and lens, and it actually seems to present things even better than we can see them on our own. Check this out!

Yeah, it is amazing to be able to capture the wild in this way, and I'm blessed to be able to share it with all of you. Enjoy these new photos, and have an excellent night!

HERE ARE THE REST

Specifically, I really enjoy seeing the scale texture on some of these. Unlike some of the "smoother" lizards in our area, these are pretty rigid!

As always, I'm @papa-pepper and here's the proof:

Until next time…

Cool! Nice photo indeed!

Beautiful nature photography!

Great the color lizard

Looks like this lizard is very tame with you. So you can take pictures with as much. I really enjoyed this amazing lizard photo. May always be successful for @papa-pepper.

Yeah, I thought that it looked great on the rocks

excellent shooting skills,,, papa,,, goodjob. 👍

Good photo..

Love that I can see individual scales in the photo! He is a pretty cool lizard. But not as cool as your hair!

Yeah, those individual scales look incredible!

So crystal clear in detail of the lizard's eye too. Cool hair style....the big strands looks like lizard tails...are those petrified lizard tails on you hair?

Lol! Joking about my hair already?

The picture captured was superb!

My oh my, someone's enjoying their macro lens! LOL Great photos and very big lizard! We don't have lizards like that around these parts - you must be further west.

beautiful photo collection

Oh, man, I'm so bored of being a lizard. How I would like to be sitting now commenting on a post on steemit. (These humans are so lucky, they always get what they want)

amazing photography.

Those closeups are amazing!

My wife is a photographer and wants to know what kind of camera and lens you have? Great picture. I love Arkansas!

Gotta love that camera! We've seen a few of these out on our land. I'm a fan of the catch and release program as well ;)

That's a great macro lens you have there. Didn't realize the size of the lizard until you got him on your hand. Awesome hair btw.

Yeah, it looks huge! Love you username too!

Thanks man. Almost got bitten once.

Never seen this type of specie, the ones around here run for dear...really wonderful

Hahahaha how do you even catch these animals?
Well done Papa. You are right, the camera lens did amazing job, in showing them in details. You captured it well, Papa.
