This camera sure is a blessing!
I love being able to observe and interact with the creatures of the world anyway, but this new camera and macro lens allow me to do so on a whole 'nother level. Yesterday, the oldest son of @bluerthangreen and @allforthegood caught a Banded Tiger Moth, and since he knows that I love wild animals, he brought it over as a gift. I tried to get some good photos, but knew that at any moment it could fly away. Sure enough, after just a few, it was gone! Here are the shots that I captured though. Enjoy!

Wow! That is a super impressive little guy. I love my macro lens! When I first got it, I was down in the grass and all over the place looking at this macro world. It really is the coolest experience. Now I'm into my telephoto camera ;) So much fun! LOL Thanks for posting these - hope to see more.

Beautiful pics. Love the ones of the moth's face. I also love to interact with the creatures. Just got back from a walk to the neighboring field to interact with a herd of antelope. They're so beautiful! I just love their energy.
