Here are a few close up shots of some insects and moths I have been shooting lately. This first one is up close on an Orb Spider. I was surprised at how hairy him ‘arms’ are next to his mouth. These are the ones he uses to guide food to his mouth.
This last photo is a type of plant weevil. I was quite surprised by his look when I zoomed in close!

Wow! Crazy cool critters!! They are so neat up close. That weevil is something else! And, the orb spider's eating arms! Whaaaaa! Do you ever feel just a bit creeped out after seeing these close ups!! I love the abundance of images you consistently share yet you always have new critters! There's so much diverse life in the jungle it's amazing!
