4 Floral Photos Shot With A Cell Phone And 15x Macro Lens Attachment

Today I shot photos for an interior decorator at an incredibly beautiful home she worked on here in Truckee, California. She and the homeowner had purchased some really nice flower arrangements for the shoot that we used as props in the rooms. After the shoot was over, the homeowner surprised me by offering to let me have the flower arrangements but I politely refused. However, when she said she was going to throw them away because she was heading out of town, I decided to accept the kind offer and bring them home for my wife @athompsoncpa to enjoy. My wife was very happy with them and the house smells great!

After dinner, I decided to get creative and have some fun with the flowers and my cell phone camera. Macro floral photos aren't my normal subject matter and it's not my main camera so it was fun to feel no pressure to take sellable photos, I got to just loosen up and enjoy something different. All of these shots were taken with a Samsung Galaxy S7 and a 15x macro lens attachment available in this cheap but fun lens kit: HERE

These photos certainly aren't the best quality and I would never put them up for sale as prints on my website. However they are fairly decent for online use and again, they were fun to take so I thought I'd share them here.

Oh, the photos were worked on a bit in the free Adobe Photoshop Express app on the phone. It's a great app that has a lot of features similar to the full paid version on my computer. Pretty much any cell phone photo I post gets a little bit of editing using that app.
