Wild or Maiden Grapes
A distinctive feature of a maiden's grape is that in the few weeks until November the leaves change color and acquire shades of red. The colors range from scarlet to crimson and almost brown.
In the thick of leaves very neatly looking are small dark berries with a wax scarf. They remain on the vine and after the leaves fall.
