Great pics buddy - Shaggy ink caps - Didn't know they were called Lawyers wig - a fitting name - corrupt and black the older they get :)

These were plentiful back in England - no real taste - and not much flesh... you need half a carrier bag full to do a meal.... Puff balls are a better option before they turn to jelly inside or blue buttons (wood blewits) this time of year - early winter.

    I did not realise these were the same as Shaggy Ink Caps, lol. Common names...

    Coprinus comatus is more accurate.
