Madrid makes it very easy to catch a train from the airport to the center of the city. But you have to be careful to get to the correct platform. I stepped out of the metro to find this vintage cinema place and it looked like it was about to rain. Nonetheless i managed to walk around and enjoy the area as much as I could before heading back.
Madrid is one amazing place! My girlfriend went to Madrid to get her bachelors there and I was amazed when I went to visit her. First of all, I can confirm - it's really easy to get lost in the city haha second - it is full of art and if you're into painting, architecture, and just pain aesthetics - Madrid is a place for you!
