Organ Historical Trust of Australia News

in magazine •  6 years ago  (edited)

OHTA News is a quarterly publication that I look forward to receiving in the post. It contains lots of information on organ movements, primarily in Australia, and highly technical data about them. It’s quite an academic publication so it’s not really suited to non-organ enthusiasts.

I also subscribe to the Sydney Organ Journal which is also a quarterly publication. That journal has more news about organists and organ music in general. It leaves all the highly technical organbuilder news for OHTA. When I receive my next SOJ, I will try to share it with Steemians!

I'm going to forward your post to my Total Organist student John Higgins who also lives in Australia. It would be nice to have Australian organist community on Steem, don't you think?

I think he’s participated in the contest early on? I recall one of the earlier contests with set repertoire like the BWV 731. Would be good to see more organists on Steem.
