My Entry For "Favorite Things Photo Contest"

@phoenixwren is hosting a photography contest, his cats judge his contests! They are real tough cookies I tell you...they require offerings, but that doesn't mean you'll win. Trust me I know from experience 😂

Take a picture of these 5 things: Your favourite food, place to sit, mug or cup to drink out of, shirt and book. Here are the rules>>> Favorite Things Photo Contest.

#1: Favourite Food

Oh God, do I even have to say? Gramma Anne's Buns! Though I can never make them as good as her, I always try. I use these buns for everything, we even slice them thinly when they get stale and make mini grilled cheese sandwiches with them.

What I haven't told you is that they are so much my favourite that I've recently had to start weaning myself off of them. I haven't gone cold turkey but I'm really trying to limit myself to only 1 or 2 a day. Hence why the next photo is of Kiedis and Stryder eating the batch I made this evening.

So good hot out of the oven with peanut butter.

Or butter. Damn as I'm making this post right now I'm really kicking myself for not having one of these earlier...LOL! Shouldn't it be the other way around? Shouldn't I be glad that I didn't have one?

#2: Favourite Place to Sit

Black couch. Left side. I actually have no idea why I like it there so much or why it is "my spot" in the house, and I just don't know if I want to dedicate the time it would take to muse upon it and find the answer. And I really don't think any of us care hahaha!

#3: Favourite Cup or Mug

As it's called in the house: "My Chickeeeeeee Mug"

It's got everything I love, chickens, crows, gardens...It's a small mug, so I definitely don't use it in the morning, but when I weighed it all out, I do love this mug more than my big white one because it's sooooooooooo cute and makes my heart happy.

#4: Favourite Shirt

It doesn't look like nothing snazzy, but it's sooooooooo comfortable and I wear the shit out of it. All of my fall/winter clothes are downstairs, except this. We don't part ways, ever.

very interesting to know so many facts about you;)

now I know the meaning of your tattoo;)
I was shy to ask because sometimes tattoos are very intimate and means something very personal. It's a cover of your book, a cool idea;)

a black sofa is my dream! I've only a black bed now;)

the shirt is cool too! my favourote things aren;t attractive at all, but they are really comfortable

and this bread (buns?) you eat seem to be so tasty! i like bakery, and often make something by myself, give me the recipe pls;)

so just 2 weeks?? so fast?
I saw many recipes but they all were so long! about 3-4 months!
I can't wait so long;)) but soon we'll have an apple period in our garden, and I like apple vinegar so much, and I wanna make it!;)
now I'll google what is galoon:)) and how much it's in liters;)

starter yes! natural yest from flour and water
have you heard about it?
if no I'll give the recipe;)

I would love your starter recipe, yes please!

For the ACV. In 2 weeks you strain out the apples. Then you let it sit for yes, 3-4 months. :) If you have any other questions just let me know.

ahhh... I amn't very strong in English without text versions, so sorry, I missed some sense during listening.(
but I like your manner so much, you're so positive, so light, it's pleasure to listen to you even without understanding each word;)

Bread has to be greatest especially if it is homemade, fresh from the oven. I try not to bake it too often anymore since it is such a temptation. Love the kitten photo! (another addiction...sigh)

omg! the left side of the sofa is my spot too...though sometimes i sit on the other end to even it out, since hubs does most of his sitting at his computer in his office. ;)

I know how it is to have a spot to sit and have no idea why. I create one in every house I'm in and they never make any rational sense whatsoever. Recently I spent 11 days at a friend's house working and I think I left a permanent indent on their wraparound

Those buns look amazing. There's nothing better than fresh bread. I would bake so much more if it wasn't so fucking time consuming :)

I'm definitely grateful to be a stay at home Mom, I have the time to do these things for us. It feels really good.

Well, it was a pretty weird spot. It'd be easier for me to draw than explain, but also really frustrating to try to get that image onto my computer, with my current tech set up. But, when I got there there were a lot of people there, and I was planning on sitting and working while everyone else was wandering around partying. So, still wanting to be present, yet out of everyone's way, I found my seat in the most inconvenient corner of the couch; one of those situations where I had to awkwardly walk around a coffee table in a weird foot space every time I stood up. I almost tripped every time. Then by the next day everyone had cleared out; yet it had just become my spot. I had all my shit on the windowsill behind me and all my work stuff in front of me on the TV stand.

So I spent 11 days sitting there, whenever I was in their house sitting. And I'm a pretty big person. So I think I made a permanent impression, haha

The book is the 6th in The Sword of Truth Series. It's a fantasy series, yet even the author was unimpressed with having to use fantasy as his genre because it's so much more than that...there's so many deep philosophical meanings laced through the series...really it's about true freedom, love of life...the nobility of the human spirit...

Yeah, and I am craving buns but that's not with the serious faces hahaha, I just wanted to include the selfies to show "proof" I took all the photos yesterday :)

I love any kind of bread so much! I limit myself in eating it but if it would be just up to me I would eat bread/buns/baguettes etc 3 times a day..with potatoes 😂

What a great looking tattoo! And how cool you were inspired by a book! I have no tattoo but I like other people having them 😊
