Daily rituals that cure financial weaknesses. (warning: magic)

The most misunderstood phenomena in our lives are the fluxes of change. We often misunderstand the weather, we misinterpret peoples emotional whims, and most often of all, we misunderstand how our daily rituals influence our fortunes.

The first pattern I want to reflect on in today's talk is what healthy, and unhealthy use of finance in your life can symbolically induce changes in your fortune. Finance, in modern life is a measurement of what liquid wealth you've accumulated. The first constant in this pattern I'd like to outline is the direction of flow. Since accumulated wealth is something that is either remaining constant, growing or shrinking, you have a symbol arising from the patterns in your life in this regard, and is likely the strongest symbol in your financial life.

Some people are accumulating wealth, some people are shrinking what they have.

On this matter there is a clear symbolic advantage to having a hoard which accumulates. My suggestion on this is to posses a circular table or other receptacle that can be easily accessed and hold a fairly large quantity of money. Any physical money you can spare in your daily undertakings gets placed on, however small it may be, cents are fine if you lack confidence. The money in the hoard should be treated as 'not yours', the purpose of this is to not spend it for a long period of time. We can look at the hoard as a treasure that is intended to secure a few specific symbols in your financial pattern:

Your wealth is accumulating
The accumulated wealth is under no threat of being spent
You do not need to spend all your money you have

Beyond that, you can reflect on what you are doing through mental imagery to add to the pattern that you are setting in place, I would suggest that you consider the following 'dreams' you can envision. In time, your hoard will grow and grow, you can see it pile up and spill over with coin and note. For some more specific magical involvement, you can envision some lucky being of your choosing, a Japanese coin frog or a Buddha, a Mahom cat or some symbolic being of your choosing, fetching you coin from far and wide, working with no need to tire, for your accumulation is equal to its activity and vice versa, an entity of the motions you're setting forth.

I would suggest you reflect on the non-locality of time, and how the hoard you have stored in your future is already benefiting you today, because you are destined to store more, since you have a bigger hoard in the future, that hoard can already benefit you today. This does require you to commit to store what you add to the hoard without interfering with it in the future, but can give you the benefit of what you are yet to do. The entire strength of what you set off to do is captured in the time when you changed your destiny, when you 'set off' and started making the change, from that point onwards the entire benefit of what you will do is available to you, should you chose to tap into it by synchronizing your current pattern with your exact future pattern. This is why long term ritual can be more powerful than short term ritual.

You'll quickly face the frictions of your 'initial momentum', where you were heading before you started the ritual. If you have things leeching your finances from you, like smoking habits, or gambling habits, they'll quickly start grinding at you, tempting you to spend the hoard on the habit.

The next, and final matter I would like to introduce for this discussion is folding magic.

Since we spend a lot of money in the form of notes, folding magic is a good ritual to influence the wider phenomenon through your daily habits. When you spend money, fold the notes closed to the world, open to you. Know that this means it will return to you in full. Dreaming it blowing away into the wind and returning into your pocket is one way to cement your pattern in vision.
