Originally developed by Giovanni Meroni from Italy.

Back in 2015, Giovanni made the "Omnia: The First" set of playing cards, with the style of cyclicality, and included packs of cards for each of the three different dimensions of the Omnia universe. The Omnia tales are of the style of Viking and Greek mythology, yet of Giovanni's own devising.

There is unique artwork on each of the court cards. They have subtle changes in the art, to mirror the unique themes of each. In Oscura their soul is darker, evil, angry or sad; in Illumina they are more positive, brave and generous; in Suprema they feature divine strength with detailed armors, gems and wings.

The style and artwork is brilliant. It stands a mile apart from much of the artwork from US designers, with a Mediterranean feel, which I enjoy. The suits are visible and clear, as are the values of the cards, which makes them playable and usable.

A real plus is the detailed story that inspires the artwork. It’s true that the Omnia universe is Giovanni's own imagining, and new to me, I can still enjoy how he is using different traditions and symbols, and used it it in unique ways for the different decks in the set.

The stunning artwork that brings in an imaginative theme, deep in meaning and art, these playing cards are far more than just a pretty toy.. They have their own personality and presence. - Review from EndersGame
