Sa gulang ng isang, mausisang kaisipan
Ako’y nakapitas, ng bubot na dalandan
Tulad ng isang, pasabog na bulkan
Aliw na aliw sa paglabas, ng gulaman

Mahabang panahon, ang s’yang lumipas
Pagtingin sa yo’y, walang pagkakupas
Sa aking lihim, na tinatangi
Tanging saksi ay ang, mahalumigmig na gabi

Kagabi ng ikaw, ay aking hanapin
Nagtampo ang langit, nagtago ang bituin
Tinangka ko namang, ikaw ay limutin
Sarili kong puso, ang s’yang kikitlin

Subali’t wala ng, laya pang umibig
Kaya’t tinuring lang, na isang kapatid
Bakas ng kahapon, di babalik
Salamat sa iyong, yakap at halik
