A Visit by My Partner in Crime Definitely Makes Me Smile ll MakeMeSmile

We usually get to see each others at least one to two times in a month. Ever since I got assigned to work in Pengerang, we haven't been seeing each other for 6 weeks due to my work schedule. Thankfully, because of the advancement of the technology today, we can still communicate and spend some time to see each other through a small screen everyday.

There happen to be a school holiday and sem break coincidentally on the last week of March. @miniu finally get to have a break from teaching tuition and lab tutor. She dicided to come for a visit and so we planned for that to happen. While she is here, she can take her time to work on her thesis paper as well.

I woke up even before my alarm clock. Yes, it was today the fated time for us two crime buddy to meet again and that makes me quite excited. I also managed to borrow a car from my friend at work. After my half day of work, I went for a hair cut.

After church session, had a dinner with Josh, my churchmate at Senai McDonald's. We talked and wait until @miniu arrived at Senai Airport which is around 11pm. We finally met each other.. ❤️

We had our breakfast together before I go for my work. @miniu started her thesis writing work as well.

I finish my work early to bring her for some quick snack. Nothing much was available yet at 4pm, so we grab ourselves some snacks at Sg. Rengit KFC. The mashed potato fingers definitely became one of our favourites.

Later that night we had dinner at Lotus Desaru Seafood restaurant.

We basically repeated our routine. We had an evening walk. Had dinner at my hostel together and went out shopping for some groceries.

That night, we had a fellowship with fellow churchmates after taking dinner at Desaru Nelayan Seafood Restaurant.

We have been working hard, so it's time to treat ourselves to our very first lobster dinner! Restaurant Super Lobster definitely has its name right for their taste 🤤

It's finally my offday! For our first activity, we had over to Lotus Desaru Waterpark. I got is some free tickets from one of my friend. If not, it will cost us RM60 per entry ticket for each of us. Its no where as awesome as you think. Luckily we did not waste our money to come but we still had our fun time.

We also went to Desaru Beach. We enjoyed the view and the cool sea breeze while taking our time to take some photoshoot.

As the sun goes down, we move on to 261 Bar & Restaurant at Els Club Ocean Course, a golf course center. We ordered Ernie's Burger and Lamb Shank, both of the signature dishes here, in which the taste definitely worth the pennies. 😖

We didn't had enough water games yet. So on the night before, we decided on the spot and bought tickets to Desaru Coast Waterpark. Which only costs us RM105 per person as we bought it online. If not we will have to pay a walkin price of RM130 each. We had lots of thrill and fun times there with the artificial beach, pirate ship, roller coaster and 4 waterslides.

After that we went to Kota Tinggi Firefly Leisure Park. There is a small animal zoo here and the animals are so cute. We ride a boat and had a firefly sightseeing at its River. Can't get a good shot of the fireflies though.

We spent the next few hours at Aeon Tebrau before we went back for rest.

First stop of the day, the old town of JB, Jalan Tan Hiok Nee.

After whole morning of strolling and photoshoot, we stopped by Cheotnun Korean Dessert, to chill out.

At night, we met up with two of our old friends at UFB.

31.03.19

Today was supposed to be the last day to be with @miniu. We still manage to catch up with some more friends. One at Warakuya and the other at People's and Places.

Then it's almost time to send off @miniu at the Larkin bus station. We were quite rush due to the traffic jam. The moment was somehow hard. We didn't even manage to properly say goodbye or take a photo together. We are actually worried that she might arrive late at KL due to the traffic congestion caused by people returning from the chinese culture activity "ching ming". She was already on the bus, and somehow I mustered my courage to ask her to stayed back. I will not touch much on the sentimental part. (that moment was somehow almost similar to a some drama scene, as the bus was actually leaving the station already). I got her a flight ticket at the earliest time the next morning (thank God we manage to get quite a cheap flight as well) . Then we spend the rest of our time at Johor Premium Outlet.

That morning we woke up real early, at 530am. To sent her off at Senai Airport. And here also I will not mention any sentimental part of course. Haha.

So it was a another goodbye for us again for the time being. But, it was sure a memorable and meaningful well spent time for both of us. This visit and our time definitely let us smile! Looking forward to our time together again.❤️
