Two of my favourite words on Steemit - and how to use them wisely to make Steemit great again!

Since switching from an avid 'wallet watcher' to a comment/reply responder, I am now a little bit addicted to clicking on the Replies button on steemit.com, or watching for mentions of my name on Discord (thanks @ginabot). Even though like an addict who is now fixated on a different stimulant, I do hope that this one is easier to manage and less expensive to indulge in :p

What I really like reading in the comments is when people show gratitude and appreciation of the effort or quality of a post by thanking the author. It can be as simple as writing 'thank you' followed by why you want to thank them. This is important because a 'thank you' without a reason is like saying 'WTF' and then not saying anything else - it gets the attention of someone but then leaves them waiting/hanging for something more.

These are some of my favourite 'thank you' follow ups:

  • for such an interesting post because now I have learnt something new
  • for introducing me to '@anothergreatsteemian' because I also like '#anothergreatidea'
  • for reading through the entire post and giving me your valuable feedback
  • for letting me know that you care about what I do on steemit and encouraging me to succeed

What are some of the best 'thank-you' moments or comments you have seen or read on Steemit? There might be another bounty coming up soon (hint)?
