SLC-S21W4 | A proper Eyebrow And lip Makeup.

Am thrilled to participate in the week4 makeup class with @almacaridad our makeup teacher who as done an excellent job in helping us to know how to apply make correctly with a neat result.

💄 - Identify your eyebrow type and apply makeup according to its shape, creating a gradient at the beginning of them. Also, show and explain if you used shadows, pomades or any of the existing products to apply makeup.

The picture above shows clearly how my eyebrows look and that is a clear hard angle eyebrows, a little details about hard angle brows.
A hard angled eyebrow shape slopes upward, moving from the inside out, then sharply turns downward at the end. This creates a clear angle that is visible on the top and bottom of the brow.

My makeup tools for this week class are;

• eyebrows pencil
• concealer palette
• lipstick
• lip gloss
• concealer brush
• eyebrows brush

• useing the concealing brush i placed it beside my nose up to the starting point of my eyebrows marking where my drawing will start then i do the same on the angle to make where my pencil will drop giving me a hard angle shape.

• then i sketch a skeletal drawing on my brows, reason is because my brows are slightly different so the sketch will help me adjust the two eyebrows to look the same.

• after i adjust my brows to match each other i use my pencil to give a hair strokes in the middle of the sketch i made making it a bit obvious than my natural eyebrow.

• then i use my concealer to carefully line my brows starting from the start and end it in the angle giving it a sharp end.

Results

Using only the concealer to blend my brows this was the result i got.

💄 - Shows the before, during and after of your lip makeup; performing the process of outlining them to perfect their shape. In addition, it investigates and explains what your lip type is and what is the correct way to make up and outline them whether they are droopy, thin, thick, asymmetrical, among others.

my tools for lips are;

• nude lipstick
• lining pencil
• lip gloss
• lining brush

From my findings i have a wide lips. Wide lips are caused by a mouth that is wider, elongating the lips from either side, giving them a more spread-out appearance,

• i draw a cross pair of marks in an oval shape i liner brush and highlight down the sloping edges of the top lip line.Useing my lip liner to draw a V on the top of the lip will bring out the oval shape well.

• i applied a nude color lipstick to my lips to make it look natural then carefully blending it in the middle.

• I wear lip gloss for a dimensional lip glow i love to moisturize my lip for additional beauty and to avoid crack on the lips.

💄- After a while, our makeup products may expire or become unfit for use; research and explain what characteristics to take into account to know when we should throw away these products to avoid future consequences.

• I check the label. The label of many beauty products features a small jar with a number and the letter M next to it that denotes how long that product will last after it it has been opened.

• The smells; some products has this unique fragrance that is nice, i have a lip gloss that scent like chocolate this is one factor that indicate that the product is still good for use. If any makeup products start to have chemicals smell or unpleasant odour we should cross check the date of expiration because that is the sign that the product should not be used any longer.

• texture;The texture and consistency of the product may also change depending on the formula, we should also watch out for clumpiness, drying out or separation when applying as this are signs of expired products.

Effects of expired makeup products.

Skin Irritation and Inflammation. Expired makeup can harbor bacteria, fungi, and other microorganisms that can cause skin irritation,

So incase ones lost track on how many months the product is there are other signs to look out for, Some cosmetics have printed expiration dates on them, so you know when your makeup will go bad. Typically that includes the month and year, but not all will have specific dates listed you can also look for textural changes, such as separation and changes in consistency.
