Ipsy Bag Review for April 2018

I have tried, I have used, I have contemplated and now I'm ready to reveal my review on April's Ipsy Bag.

This month is all about "social butterfly", I'm not one of those, actually I am a very shy person....until I get to know you better than I usually don't shut up. But that's neither here nor there. But I LOVE butterflies!! And butterflies are all over this month's bag. And I truly love it. I usually donate my bags to either family or thrift stores but this month's bag is going in my purse for keeps. :)

Ok, let's talk products...

1 - Ipsy bag - this month is a keeper, it's so beautiful and feels very sturdy

2 - Theorie Hair Mask - the claims on this is that it's chocked full of charcoal and will detoxify each strand of hair. I don't know if it did that or not to my hair, but my hair did feel clean and it did not weigh it down either. There's only enough for me to use it twice and so that's what I have found from this product of two times using it. One thing I will say is that I am a little creeped out by the fact that it's an actual charcoal color. There's something about putting black cream on your hair that makes you twitch a bit. Or is that just me?

3 - Ruby small crease / definer brush - This brush is very soft yet has a slight firmness to it. I can use it to do detail crease work but it is soft enough to blend it out also. I really like this brush

4 - Nots Finishing Cream - This has a green tint to it and because I suffer from redness on my face, I really enjoy that. It claims to have SPF 30 and is used as a primer or just as a sunscreen. I have used it under my makeup and while I do enjoy it, you must be careful to keep it clear from your hair line or eyebrows. It will flake and make a gross mess. I don't feel that it makes me oily even though it says it's hydrating. It's not something I'd buy, but its going in the RV for me to use during travel.

5 - Ciate London Starstruck Double Ended Liner - I LOVE this liner!! It has a felt tip on one end and the other is a stamp of a star. I think the pigment is wonderful, the staying power is nice, it stayed on and did not stray when Caleb and I were out picking strawberries in the sun. I wish I could get a little bit thinner line with the felt tip, but I like that I can make a dramatic wing when I would like with it. Now the stamp part is absolutely adorable. I have no clue how I'm going to stamp stars on my eyes and look like a 30 something adult, but I assure I will try. :)

6 - Meech and Mia loose pigment in Copper - well, you know how I feel about loose shadows....they are not "Kim friendly", meaning I make the biggest mess and that's why I don't use them. But I do try out everything in order to give my best review and I have a photo for you below. I like the color and of course you get superior pigment from this. If I was a pigment lover, I would enjoy this very much.

In the photo above I did use the eyeliner and brush for application of the pigment.

My over all thoughts.....

• Bag - keeper
• Hair Mask - it was unique (odd?) to try black hair mask and it seemed to do nice things for my hair but I wouldn't buy it
• Brush - keeper
• Finishing Cream - enjoyed but will not purchase, I will continue to use the rest up though
• Eyeliner - I am excited to fit the star stamp in an eye look, and I will continue to use the felt tip. I would only purchase for the stamp
• Pigment - A good pigment, full color, but I don't like pigments and would not purchase, but I feel that one who loves pigments would enjoy this

And there you have it, my review for Ipsy April 2018. I am almost ready for my Boxy Charm review, I have a little more playing to get my honest review ready, so stay tuned for it.
