If this rain does not stop Caleb and I will not be picking strawberries again tomorrow. :( Anyways, "Happy Friday"!! How has your week been? I was working at Caleb's school yesterday and the rain was pouring so much that I actually had to change clothes because I was soaking wet. My shoes were squeaking down the hallway of the school, so loudly that the teachers were looking out their door at me and then shutting their doors. :/ A little embarrassing to say the least.
Have you seen the @ulog from @surpassinggoogle yet? You really need to go check that out. From what I understand, it's all about "you" and your life. What are you all about? What makes you, you?
It reminds me of my #dailylife photo that I usually will do on the weekends, but this seems to be in more detail.
I am excited to do a vlog or blog really soon with my life, and I encourage you to do the same!! And if you do, let me know, I LOVE seeing people's everyday lives and what they do on the daily, etc. Because isn't that what our life is? It's not made up from the occasional big events in life but the little daily happenings. I think this is going to be a lot of fun to do!!
Ok, let's talk makeup, because that's what you are looking for right?
After this post, I will only have one more Kokie product to review, which is the eye shadow pallet. I am trying to decide exactly what look I want to do with the eye shadows....I've done many looks with it, but I just haven't shown them on the blog yet. But we will get to that next week.
So, Kokie blush pallet in Demure...
There are four different pallets, but my store only carries the one in Demure. I really want the Rose Glow one and the Pinken, so I have still been on the look out for those two. But the pallet in Demure has really been a beautiful collection of colors.
Let's see what Kokie says about their pallets:
Get a little cheeky with these oh so handy blush palettes! Each of our four happy trios consists of perfectly coordinated matte or slightly shimmery shades. These pigmented, blend-able colors will give you a healthy glow and delicious color for perfectly pinch-able cheeks! Feeling festive? Mix and match to create a custom shade, use a light and darker shade to create dimension, or just be simply lovely and swipe on one perfect hue for a bright, rosy complexion.
Lightweight, natural wear
Easy to blend
Buildable color
I love the "get a little cheeky". I think it's because my brother-in-law's mom is British and she calls my niece "cheeky" and I just sit back and giggle from the word "cheeky". But anyways, the claims...
*Lightweight, natural wear - yes to the natural wear
*Easy to blend - very much so
*Build-able color - yep
I agree with them being build-able and easy to blend. They are most certainly that. I think the wear time is wonderful, I don't notice fading of any kind until the end of the day when most of my foundation has broken down which makes the blush do the same. They talk about "lightweight", I'm actually not quite sure what to make of that. I don't find powder blushes heavy so the term "lightweight" is kind of meaningless to me. But they can give a very natural look to the skin, but that will be determined on how heavy your hand is too. What I enjoy the most about this blush is that it's not patchy. I have had trouble with some blushes that will be just blotchy and hard to work with. Fortunately, this one is not that.
The price for this pallet is $9.00 for .67 oz for all three blushes combined. The packaging is very slim and compact and I feel (from the many times I have dropped it) that the packaging is quite sturdy.
On a side note: I try to not drop my makeup and usually don't review packaging durability but in this case because I dropped it so many times, I thought it would be beneficial to say that it has held up nicely for me, but I still wouldn't recommend dropping your pallets if you can help it. :)
Below are the few times I have used the Kokie blush pallet.
I will say that I truly believe that this blush pallet is worth the $9.00. I do think the quality is beautiful, as well as the colors and application of it. While I can't attest for the other colors, I can for the pallet in Demure.
Well that's all I have for my review of the Kokie blush pallet in Demure. I hope it is useful and will give you an idea as to whether or not you would like to try this blush or not.
That's all I have for today and this week. Have a beautiful weekend and I will talk to you all again soon!!
Until then, take care everyone.
