Hey Steemians!
In the last five years I have become extremely interested in health. Real health, not the pathetic stuff told to us by doctors, schools, Governments, pharmacies etc. Luckily a miracle guided me away from the lies and to the truth of real (attainable) health, and if I could, I would spread the knowledge to every single person on our planet.
Right now though I'm going to express my thoughts on the product it seems, that no girl or boy can live with out: Yep, Makeup.
Recently while reading a health article, I flicked to a write up on some of the chemicals that are mixed in with our cosmetics and this prompted me to start telling more people. Honestly I was sickened to read that the makeup we apply to our faces EVERY DAY has neurotoxins, arsenic, coal tar, formaldehyde, preservatives, hormone disruptors, reproductive toxicity, breast cancer risks, petroleum, plastics, artificial fragrances, carcinogens and endocrine disruptors. There is also very little safety data on the chemicals in cosmetics. This alone should persuade you from purchasing.
More disturbing is the reality that we also eat and breathe these toxins and more EVERYDAY. Creating a very poisonous cocktail build up in an amazing body. I cannot understand why people ignore this. So wake up! No wonder people are becoming sicker everyday. And I wouldn't even go to a doctor, they only want to make money off you. Your are literally being murdered and mistreated by the very people who make and authorize the sale of these products. Really can't dispute that.
From the moment we are born our bodies are swamped with harmful chemicals and this continues all throughout life. So health problems ultimately start to occur. These include: over toxicity in the liver, acne, weight gain, severe allergic reactions, headaches, hair problems, eye infections, infertility, premature ageing, hormonal imbalances, cancer, and skin discolouration.
So I'd suggest that you avoid brands like Rimmel, Napoleon Perdis, Maybelline, Avon, Dove, Rexona, Models Prefer, NARS, Estee Lauder, Revlon, Covergirl, Max Factor, Revlon, L'Oreal. Especially the really cheap makeup because you ain't getting no bargain.

To check if your foundation, moisturizer, mascara, eyeliner etc is safe to use.
Really pay attention to the popular mainstream brands. Look at the ingredients before you buy and do a little research on them. This puts the power back to the consumer, you can choose whether or not you want to apply carcinogens to your face each day.
I really would love to see more awareness about this issue. So please leave your comments or suggestions. Would love to hear them.
