Soft Yellow Eye Makeup
Before I’m going to start with my actual photo tutorial, I want to share some thoughts with you!
When I was sitting before the mirror to make this look, I needed at first an idea. I always wanted to use yellow in an eye makeup tutorial, but I thought that it wouldn’t suit me… but then I had a look into the colorful eyeshadow palette to get an idea, and a beautiful yellow was popping out of this palette, also, this is where I got the idea of creating this look.
So, I hope that you like this eye makeup look as much as I do!
Step 1:
Prep your eyelids before your applying any eye makeup products.Applying some eye primer or concealer with some powder will help the eye makeup look to last longer.
Step 2:
Apply a transition shade.Applying a transition shade at first will be your guideline on how far you can go with your eyeshadow. Choosing a pastel pink as transition shade is a little more special.
Take a flat fluffy brush and blend this through your crease and higher. You ought to have the capacity to see the transition shade with your eyes open!
Step 3:
Transition shade on your lower lash line.To give the eye makeup look a little bit of fun, choose the same pastel pink tone and swipe it under your lower lash line. Take a flat eyeshadow brush for this.
Step 4:
Add the main Eyeshadow Shade on your mobile lid.Choose a sun-like yellow shade and apply it on the mobile lid, from the inner corner towards 2/3 of your eye. You can apply it with your finger (to get the full pigment) and then blending it with a dense roundish brush.
Step 5:
Add depth to your eye makeup look.Taking a mustered-like brownish shade to the outer corner will nearly finish the eye makeup look. Applying this shade to the outer corner with a dense roundish brush will add a lot of pigment if you are dapping it at first. Later on, you can blend it into the crease/pinkish shade.
Step 6:
Add some liner.Add some pink to your lower waterline with an eyeliner pencil.
Step 7:
Add a pink eyeshadowNow you can take a deeper pink and blend this through your lower lashline. You can bring this shade further down so that it will be smoked out. Using a flat eyeshadow brush will be the best.
Step 8:
Highlighting.Take a pointed eyeshadow brush and apply some highlighter on your brow bone, inner corner of your eyes, cheekbone, nose and Cupid’s bow. You can dampen the brush by spraying some setting spray on to the brush. This allows you to pick up more product.
Step 9:
Add mascaraAdding mascara to your lashes will give you a whole new makeup look because it can add so much drama to your look! -> it should be black.
Step 10:
Add a soft pink lipstickChoosing a soft cream lipstick will finish off the whole makeup look! The lipstick ought to have a shine to it, and you can blend the lipstick in with your fingers.
OPTIONAL! You can add winged eyeliner to this look, as I did here in this picture. This will give you the drama look if you do not want a soft eye makeup look!
