Mammootty is an Indian film actor and producer who primarily works in the Malayalam film industry. He has also acted in a few Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi language films. He has been in the film industry for over four decades and has appeared in more than 400 films.
Mammootty is considered one of the finest actors in Indian cinema and has won several awards for his performances, including three National Film Awards, seven Kerala State Film Awards, and thirteen Filmfare Awards South. He has also been honored with the Padma Shri and Padma Bhushan, two of the highest civilian awards in India.
