Two PENTAGON members have tested positive for COVID-19. Cube Entertainment, as management, released an official statement recently.
Based on the statement, Yeo Won and Wooseok tested positive for COVID-19 on March 14, 2022. Both are said to have received two doses of the COVID-19 vaccination.
"Yeo Won and Wooseok tested positive after undergoing self-test. After that, they went to the clinic and underwent a PCR test. Both tested positive for COVID-19 today," said Cube Entertainment.
"Previously, Yeo Won and Wooseok had undergone two COVID-19 vaccinations. They are currently having to suspend all activities and undergo self-quarantine according to the direction of the medical authorities," he continued.
Furthermore, Cube Entertainment also announced a schedule change for Wooseok . He canceled his appearance at the Immortal Songs event which was supposed to be scheduled for today, Monday (14/3).
"It should be understood that Wooseok will not appear on the Immortal Songs program on KBS2TV which was supposed to be scheduled today," explained Cube Entertainment.
"The agency will continue to follow directions from the medical side. We will ensure the health and safety of our artists," he concluded.
PENTAGON is not Cube Entertainment's first group with members testing positive for COVID-19. Previously, a number of BTOB members were also declared exposed to the virus.

Hyunsik, Changsub, Peniel, and Sungjae tested positive for COVID-19. While the two remaining members, Eunkwang and Minhyuk, tested negative after undergoing a PCR test.
Thus, Cube Entertainment decided to postpone BTOB 's schedule of activities until the members were declared recovered.
As is known, currently the worldwide pandemic is being exacerbated due to the emergence of a new variant of the Omnicorn. In South Korea alone, the number of cases per day has now reached more than 300 thousand.
