As a young girl, I was told that
you don't need to be close by before you impact your neighbour, you don't need to be living next door before others take delight in you by the virtue of who you are, you don't need millions of naira before you could help, your wisdom, exploit and experience matters most times.
I've grown to realise these and they are obviously true. My latest realization of these facts came from my experience here on steemit so far.
I couldn't but partake in #mancrushmonday by @gee1 to recognize and acknowledge @nairadaddy, the man that eased my tension with his posts when I was getting tensed and obviously going to back out.

In all sincerity with no string attached or ulterior motives, I choose you out of many that have been helpful because you deserve it. We haven't met in person and I find it really hard to get your pictures but you are really that "balm in Gilead" to me.

The Story

I joined steemit last month courtesy of a friend who I will tag #mancrusheveryday and ever since, it hasn't been easy. My introduction to steemit came with so many fantasies and promises. I had the impression that it will be easy but it wasn't
I nearly gave up but encouragement from friends kept me going. The post that actually did it for me came after I was inspired by my #mancrushmonday
I was surfing the internet and exploring steemit when I came across a post that inspired me and boosted my confidence. It was a series and solely for newbies. I took my time to read the posts and I was triggered to do more and not stop "steemiting".
I would have gone into full details of it now but I have to go back to work, the summary should do for now.
Oh My Goodness, I got my hope revived and his words were just what I needed the most.
Off I went to post and I earned $16 from the post, my highest so far
Wow, I was just too happy
This made me more inquisitive and passionate about steemit.
@nairadaddy, how I wish I have so many things to say about you apart from helping me to get on my feet when it seems I'm drowning.

@nairadaddy, how I wish I know you more than a steemit personality that revitalize my hope and boosted my confidence when I nearly gave up

If not for those things I read about, I wouldn't have been here enjoying steemit, I would have frustrated the effort of those that introduced the platform to me.

I dedicate this piece to you not for gold nor for silver but to appreciate you.

Seeing they say is believing, I choose to trust his words more than my friends because he has testimonies they haven't had and with that I was able to believe that one day I will reach my own peak.

@gee1, thanks for giving this opportunity. I've long wanted to do this but I've constrained my self so that it wouldn't be like I'm seeking for his attention and upvote.
