Mandella effect is an intresting one berenstain/ berenstein bears is one that baffled me. I used to watch it as a kid and it was defo berenstein bears. Dan ackroyd is the spelling i remember x

what about mirror mirror on the wall?

This is the one that gets me too. Taking German in high school and learning about the pronunciation of ie vs ei, I remembering looking at my sister's books and using that bit of knowledge to pronounce the bears' last name.

There is also Smokey Bear or Smokey the Bear variation

Oh my! I remember that as Smokey the Bear without a doubt.

You definitely heard the book read by people used to "stein" names way before that.

Yup! And it's the only Mandela effect that I can't just brush away to faulty memory.

what about the changes to the skull or positions of some organs

I haven't looked into that. What's different?

I remember Barbara Streisand / Dan Aykroyd / Kitkat

Coasta Rica or Costa Rica ?
Columbia or Colombia?

Most freaky one is human anatomy seems to have changed.

Nice work

The Mandela effect is a basic flaw of human memory, called General forgetting. You WANT to believe that your childhood thoughts must have been true, or that memories are like recorded files ... and they aren't. Berenstain Bears is the best one for an example there. There are actual books with typos going around, but the family had that name. I even recall thinking "Wow I wish that was stein" as a kid. False memory is normal; people believing in universe hopping just because they agree with them ... that's crazy.

General Forgetting is probably right for most cases.. but when a whole group of people swore they remembered the same thing before but it is different now... kinda weird.

Mirror Mirror on the Wall vs Magic Mirror on the Wall, or the Forrest Gump's "Life is a life a box of chocolate" threw me off.

Sex And the City - not so much. Barbara Streisand threw me way off
