Manga Introduction: Angel Sanctuary

Wow, for some reason I associate dark themes like the one of forbidden love with mangas and animes. I don't have much knowledge about them and I haven't read/watched them (I only watched Ghibli productions many times which I don't know if they classify as regular anime), but I just got the impression. Thanks for interesting post @myriam!

you are welcome :) yeah manga artists are more comfortable with discussing issues that comic artists would not normally touch. and they are creative as hell. if you like to delve into manga and also like dark/philosophical themes, this one is a very nice read. you can find it online on many manga websites for free. though I have an app for reading them on my Ipad (addiction has many forms!) and yes studio Ghibli classifies though they are a genre unto themselves. I've seen them all as well :) my favorites are Howl's Moving Castle and Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind.
