NASA's 'Opportunity Rover' is facing the biggest problem of its lifetime. The black dust on the Mars planet has hit black dust. Dust erosion means that the height of the highest volcano on the planet Mars has been covered up to these dumrians. For the first time on May 30, 2018, NASA was informed about the storm originated on the surface of Mars. Since then, the density of dust has continued to increase until it is written. By the coming of the month of June, it has taken a serious form of dementia. There are no such storms on Mars today. Scientists already have the same fears of such calamities coming on the planet Mars, like an atomic guest.
NASA's unmanned space vehicle 'Mariner 9' goes on to credit the initial and perhaps most important information about Mars. But in 1971, when NASA scientists were eager to see the pinnacle of Mars pulled by the 'Mariner 9', which reached the orbits of Mars, only the dust storms on Mars, and all the planets were fluttered in the Dumurry. NASA was the first grayscale of Mars in Darshan. However, after the endurance of patience, the scientists found the important photographs of the land of Mars. The dry stretch of the river stretched on the land of Mars also appeared in these pictures!
The situation of the latest catastrophe during June 2018 is that in areas where there is dust dirt in Mars, the sun's rays can not reach the ground. So many areas have long enough night. And this area is not nothing nanosome. According to NASA, this storm of dusty dust spreads approximately 35 million kilometers of planet Mars! (1 million = one million) This area is considered as the total area of North America and Russia. In other words, on the planet Mars, on the fourth part of the planet, a large area is suffering from dirt! Such massive size storms are known as 'Global Dust Storm' affecting the vast area of the entire planet.
As previously said, such storms arise on Mars. Such riots have been going on in 1971, 1977, 1982, 1994, 2001 and 2007. Such a storm is not the first time for the Opportunity Rover. In the year 2007, there was a continuous turnaround for one month. At that time, due to lack of vision of the sun, the battery of the Opportunity Rover could not be charged and the power supply was virtually reduced. But the steps taken by NASA engineers to charge the batteries of the rover immediately, as soon as the dormitories arrive. Fortunately the rover could be reworked. The same problem arose once more in 2014. However, after the dust dirt disappeared at that time, the cold winds of the Mars planet gave NASA a wonderful help! Due to these winds, the dirt coating on the rover was automatically removed, resulting in another 'opportunity' opportunity for the occupational rover to work.
But the biggest impact of Mars's latest Destest Storm has been that, the 'obsatory rover' that has been operating on Mars's ground for the last 15 years has stopped working. Opportunity Rover is based on a combination of two types of batteries, to get the working power, solar cells and rechargeable chemical batteries. These batteries can generate up to 840 watts. Working power can be generated. (Source: Wikipedia) On Mars, different seasons are experienced similar to Earth. When the sunlight is relatively low during the winter season, the router's battery consumes less power. But in conditions like 'Global Dust Storm', the sun stops completely from seeing the sun, hence the batteries also make the use of power minimal. Under these circumstances, the rover reduces its activities altogether. NASA scientists, who have been contacted by the Opportunity Rover in the present circumstances, have not received any replay from the rover. It is therefore disrupted that the router's battery takes an extreme leak and has entered into 'Power Fault Mode'. Power fault mode is a situation in which all the devices other than the device named 'Mission Clock', which are arranged in the router, will be shut down. Only Mission Clock Devices will continue and they continue to control computers.
If this time the dust storm is going to be long, then the Opportunity Rover, which has been working on Mars since the late 1990s, will probably take its final breath! Since the storms have stopped, the work of clearing the broom dust on the rover can also be a 'critical task'. However, NASA scientists can take the opportunity and pride of one thing, that the Opportunity Rover designed for only 90 days program could have been functioning for a decade and a half.
And yes, after so many experiences from the Global Dest Storm, NASA will send an announcement in the news before sending its next rover to Mars, "Wanted: 'House Keeping' staff for Mars Rover going!"
