What is the best part of you? Your resilience? Your compassion?
Now what is the area in your life you are lacking in the most?
The first question is the easiest to answer, isn't it?
Why is it so difficult to examine the weakest parts of ourselves? And why do we sweep those under the rug and choose not to work on them until they present a problem?
This is both unhealthy and not proactive. It allows the problem to remain, and we all know if you ignore something it tends to explode at the worst opportunity.
My challenge for you today is to consider your weakest personality flaw. The one that has given you the worst problems in your life. And how you would be different if you were to address it and work on it and change it into something stronger.
Then choose to make the coming weeks a time to attack it head on! You will be stronger because if it.
Because we are only as strong as our weakest flaw, after all :)
Keep visualizing and writing your goal daily! How's it going? It's the homestretch baby!

Good point. Quite logical in approach. But humans are designed that way. Everyone has a weak spot, or flaw if you may call it.
I am my own weak point. I build a plan. I acquire resources, i get to work on it, i finalize timeline and everything and in the end, my humanity kicks in (the only thing i never account for in planning phase).

@jbn,
Evidence of "Achilles" is in all of us, no?
I don't think we love others "in spite of", but "because of" their flaws...
BTW, I am JaiChai. Delighted to make your acquaintance.

It's more a difficulty than a flaw, but it's that damn rage. One tap at a time, moving one millimeter of inner energy at a time, to let go of that reflexive rage and allow the energy to flow, rather than be in resistance and have all sorts of awful feelings and thoughts come from that resistance. That rage and the need to blame someone else, the need to not be at fault. It's as though I can't fathom that if it's not someone else's fault, it can also be not mine. But because of the narcissist, it's ingrained in me that if it's not someone else's fault, it's mine, the only time it's not mine, is when it's someone else's, and when it's mine, well, I won't get into that here. So I'd say those two things are what hinders the most on my good emotions and my relationships.
That brick wall looks like a good outlet for that rage though :p

@binkyprod,
Sounds like you don't fish (or meditate)?
The point is that until you can be both a participant AND observer in your life, you have given your power (and self-control) to the whims of external factoids and other people's fancies.
You can control only you, not externalities. Why give them YOUR power?
Namaste,
JaiChai

Yes, I know I tend to give my power away a lot. There are situation where I have been able to take back my power and where I don't give it away anymore. It,s when emotional flashbacks occur that I reflexively give up my power. I'm working on finding a way to retain it, even if I'm having an emotional flashback, so I can better understand the flashback too.
And no, I don't meditate enough. You may have hit the nail on the head with that one. Thank you for your kind words.
Namaste.

@binkyprod,
You are most welcome.
And thank you for taking the time to reply.
Parting Shot -
Thoughts are things. And as quantum physics is now proving, the only "real" things we can perceive.
Let all your memories complete their purpose, their mission. Only you can reveal what that mission or purpose can be.
And no. It's not still lingering around just to make you feel bad or torment you. That's not how a living universe works.
Once "it" has finished, "It" is finished and will allow you and "it" to move on...
Just saying.

Those words ring true. I heard in a recent video that the narcissist is there to expose those childhood wounds that never healed. I didn't think much of it at the time that I heard it, but lately in my EFT sessions we've been working on triggers that cause emotional flashbacks ad I thought they were all directly linked to the narcissist. Well, as the energy shifts, I find links to something that happened to me in childhood that I never healed. The narc was only there to bring those things to the surface, to my conscious mind.
And what you say makes sense to me and I feel it is linked also, somehow :) Thank you.

Sometimes it's in our weakest state that we become humble and humane.

True. This is mostly when it happens.
Or possibly it happens to remind us to be more humble...

And in humility that we affirm that sometimes there are circumstances that we don't have any control and acknowledge the presence of Almighty.
