Inclusion is something that many economies lack. We see the trend globally is for more inequality, not less. With technology progressing ahead, many are calling for UBI as a way to solve it. This is a subject of great debate. Fortunately, discussions all over the world are taking place.

In India, we see this situation at an extreme. The difference between the well off and the poor is enormous. There is very little middle class. India is also a diverse country in the ethnic make up.

This video gives a good overview of the situation there along with the pros and cons of basic income attempts around the world.
