Manushi Chillar is 20-years-old (born on 14 May 1997) Jat girl from Haryana, India who was born in a family of doctors.
She completed her schooling at St. Thomas School, New Delhi. She is pursuing MBBS from the Bhagat Phool Singh Government Medical College for Women, Sonepat, Haryana. She is the 6th Indian woman to have won the title of Miss World after Priyanka Chopra (who won Miss World in 2000). She beat 108 contestants from various countries to win the 54th Miss World 2017.
She is 5′ 8” tall & weighs nearly 55 kg. Manushi is a fitness enthusiast.
Manushi Chillar was born in Sonipat, Haryana, India. She lives with her parents, sister Dewangana Chiller who is pursuing LLB and one younger brother Dalmitra Chiller. Her father Dr Mitra Basu Chhillar is a scientist at the Defence Research and Development Organisation and her mother Dr Neelam Chhillar is an associate professor and department head of neurochemistry at the Institute of Human Behaviour and Allied Sciences.
In an interview with ‘Times of India’, she said that the most influential person in her life is her mother who has supported her throughout her journey and added ”Her infinite love, passion, courage, and determination to achieve her goals always keeps me going. Her gentle heart yet bold personality inspires me to be compassionate and ambitious.”
On 18 November 2017, she won 54th Miss World 2017 contest and was crowned by Miss World 2016 Puerto Rico’s Stephanie Del Valle.
