January is one of my favorite months... The Holidays are over, most people are back from vacations and such and everything that was moving slowly begins to move again.
So, often it feels hard to get anything done from Thanksgiving to New Years. Everyone is unfocused and worried about their silly parties. (mostly kidding) :)
The days begin to get a little longer (more hours of Sunlight)
I am bullish about the price of Steem this year, and I think we continue to see price gains in January.

I am not saying we will hit $100 right away, but as I watch the performance of other tokens in the market there is no reason why we shouldn't see major growth. #marchto100 seems like a way to express where ever we currently are, it is a step on our way up!

I think I sincerely appreciate January because it's when I start working my way out of the December funk. I've been very happy with STEEM holding it's value but I'm still shocked that SBD is over $8. I don't know what it would take to make STEEM jump to $100 but that would certainly be exciting!

Obviously, I can't foresee the future, but I'm pretty sure there's a crash waiting right around the corner because the price is too blown up for what it's actually worth at the moment. In the long term however, Steem has a lot to offer and has even more potential, causing the price to recover and raise to new heights in the long term.

Actualy...I believe steem price should be 100 USD in 1 y from now. Why because of the limited supply and the low Market capitalization at the present time, Steemit is the only crypto that solves all the problems in one platform. Smart contracts via bots, media, social, video, audio, decentralized voting, Leaders with influence like ned . All of this suggests that Steem is the best and is not under the radar of any crypto trader. as the price fluctuation is very low. That is the only reason steem is so low. To stable to be profitable for short-term position.

I'm also quite optimistic about STEEM, and I do not think it's unreasonable to think that it can reach $ 100 this year, rather I would bet on that.
Bitcoin took just 19 days to double its price from $10,000 to $20,000. Some "analysts" said that it would take that price between April and March of 2018.
Nor do I say that STEEM is equal to Bitcoin, but the entire market is underway and is growing very fast.

I agreed with you. first of all that's true that after holidays anyone could not focus back to his work because tempo of working is disturbed. so 1 ,2 weeks required to back regular.

Yeah..this is my one of the favourite month ...i took my first earnings and also ..i felt very happy because of tge raise of the steem value...i joined 1 month back at that time the value of the steem is 2 usd and after that at the starting of this year the value raise up to 8 usd and slight up and downs after present stabled at the around 6 usd...really its life changing platform if we work hard together...i hope that the value of steem will be raise very high within fewdays...

Great to see your blog and rightly said January is the month where we start a fresh beginning of a new year which decides the rest of the year and how it will go had a great time with family and friends and now back to work in full enthusiasm and slowly we will pick up the pace :)
I personally like that which gave me a sense that i had more hours to work i know there are only 24 hours but at this age if we don't stop we can cherish it later when we all will get old this is the only time to make it the best :) hard work never goes waste.
You are absolutely correct here nothing happens in a single day we have seen the days when it was $0.10 cent when it all began as a journey back in 2016 and even in 2017 later November it was back at $0.88 after in middle hitting the all time high of @4 and many people used to think it was used to be just above a $1 in my thinking too but slowly and steadily with the start of 2018 a sudden pump up putted it into the limelight on Market cap of Cryptocurrency which has helped it to stabilized further and i don't think it may fall down from here so #marchto100 is on the move no worry about that a long way but together we will all see this happening.
