Cooking with Weed

CANNABIS TEA

Don't just throw away your stems! Although the stems are not good for smoking, they are great for many other stuff... Twig tea is just one of them :)

INGREDIENTS:
1 cup of weed stems
2 dl of milk
2 dl of water
1 teaspoon of coconut butter
cinnamon
herbal tea
honey

Grind the stems and put them in a pot. Add milk (you can use any kind of milk or a milk substitute), water and a teaspoon of coconut butter. Boil it for 15 minutes on low heat (the temperature shouldn't get over 125 °C). It is recommended to use a thermometer. Put the tea away from the stove and remember to turn off the stove! :) Add some herbs (elder flower, briar rose, lemongrass, red roses) or instead of herbs you can use cacao, chocolate, seeds, oatmeal, cornflakes, fruits, honey or sugar and some cinnamon. Cover it for 10 minutes and filter it with a strainer or a coffee filter.

CANNABUTTER

INGREDIENTS:
10 g of buds
100 g of leaves
250 g of coconut butter
2 dl of water
induction cooker

Place all the ingredients in a pot and place it on induction cooker, if you don't have an induction cooker just put it in a water bath. Cook it on 80 °C for 2-3 hours until most of the water evaporates. It is recommended to use a thermometer. Filter it with a strainer or a kitchen cloth. Place it in a refrigerator until it gets solid.

VERY POTENT CANNABIS MUFFINS

INGREDIENTS:
150 g of canna butter
0.5 ml of cannabis extract oil
2 eggs
150 g of brown sugar
400 g of flour
30 g of cocoa powder
250 ml of yogurt
1 dl of milk
1 teaspoon of baking powder
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
chocolate chips

Beat together the eggs and add sugar. Melt canna butter and 0.5 ml of cannabis extract oil and mix it over the water bath then cool it to 40 °C. Mix eggs and butter, add yogurt, flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, vanilla extract, milk and chocolate chips. Bake in paper lined muffin cups filled 3/4 full on 120 °C for 45 to 50 minutes.
