My 1st grow last year in Colorado. I planted Way too close and they grew like christmas trees. One was 18ft tall.

nice! 18' tall is impressive :) Yeah I am growing too close together myself, but it is the only place in my yard not visible through the fence from the back alley. And ultimately even a couple of too-close-together plants will still yield way more than I need for personal use for me and my wife. We grew three plants last year and ended up giving away a couple pounds to friends and family.
