In Uruguay a few days ago the sale of marijuana was authorized in 16 Pharmacies throughout the country. Following this implementation, Santander and other international banks announced that they would disable the accounts of those pharmacies because the marijuana trade is not legal at headquarters .
Several of these centers are even finding out to stop selling because of the complications involved in closing their accounts and claim the intervention of the Uruguayan state to this measure that harms them in the rest of their activities.
So far only the bank Santander made the measure.
