Strain Review: Deathstar

Deathstar is a cross between Sensi Star and Sour Diesel. Where I get it, it is 24.18% THC. It has both sativa and indica characteristics.
It has a very cerebral, relaxing effect but you can easily maintain alertness as well. It is definitely a thinking mans weed.

When you take the first pull, you feel the burn of the trichomes and a hint of the diesel flavor. Then as you exhale, you taste a more earthy, woody palette.

This particular batch was harvested a bit too early. The trichomes are almost clear and standing on end. A properly harvested plant will have trichomes with a milky, amber appearance and be bent over almost 90 degrees. Luckily, my favorite store sees this and discounts the batch. I paid only 18.49USD for the eighth. Had it been properly harvested, it would be upwards of 40USD per eighth and around 30% THC.
As it is when you smoke this strain, your ideas flow and it can couchlock you if you let it. Or you can weed your garden and hose down your kids, like I'm going to do. It's 90 here today.
