Tonight i am loading up some very exciting Rosin I picked up in Boulder. Its from a wonderful local company called Essential Extracts. Completely wonderful people doing awesome stuff! As normal I will be smoking out of the Evolve Plus XL from Yocan. Great product for smoking wax and shatter. I use the 4 coil head.
Opening this little jar revealed a chunky, flakey wax like substance, very enticing and a slight beige brown color. The smell is truly Divine and pungent! It has that iridescent clean smell right away but upon breathing deeper one notes a texture to the scent, layers of complexity colliding in an excited hurry to tickle your nostril first. The clearest scent is lemon, followed by a chemical tangierine that reminds me of cheap boardwalk candy on a sunny afternoon. It finishes with a drying paint scent.
Taking a hit allows for the immediate lemon pine taste, and a very throaty sour hit in the throat. Not quite what I would call chemical, but getting there. There are complex hints of lemon and basile, the smoke feels heavy and billows deliciously upon exhaling, it draws very clean with very little cough and leaves a cut grass after taste that is not at all unpleasant.
The high is everything you want from a classic indica, all body and earth, healing and rolling it makes me feel giggle but only inside outside I want a warm body to snuggle and watch tv with in front of the fire...with oreos...I like it...
100% recomend this wonderful product! I love love love that there is no solovents used to extract it, makes it smoke better in my mind. Look them up and check them out next time your in Colorado. Much love to you all!
