Smoking marijuana and tobacco at the same time can increase depending on the drugs , according to a new study . Otherwise , it is known that marijuana is less addictive than cigarettes.
The researchers received responses from 33,687 users of marijuana, and found that those who did not use cigarettes were 61.5 percent more likely to seek professional help, and 80 percent are willing not to use tobacco at all.
"Dependence on cannabis and tobacco are similar and difficult to separate ," says Gary Webb who led the research at the University of London.
The study showed that most Europeans mixed tobacco and marijuana, while only 4.4 percent of Americans do so.
The average age of those who mix marijuana and tobacco is 26 , and those who do not do it is 30th.
