Some good news amidst all the bad news out of Mariupol. ~2,000 cars were able to leave the city today after ~160 cars the day before. The first civilian evacuations in nearly two weeks of siege. Though these are still unofficial evacuations. Official humanitarian corridors have not been allowed to function. And no humanitarian aid convoys have been allowed into the city.
The urgency still is severe. ~200-350k people are believed to be in the city. These evacuations are drops in the bucket of the need.
