Markdown test, with UFO teaser video

My MacDown editor uses a slightly different version of Markdown than Steemit. As a newbie here, I'm still trying to figure out how they diverge. Incorporating playable video by someone else — from a separate site like Youtube — into a posting of mine is my challenge today.

UFOs and other Fortean phenomena are a passion of mine that I need to write about. Not having taken any UFO videos myself, so far anyways, I intend to show my readers UFO videos that are not my own work, and then discuss them.

As a teaser, as well as a Markdown test, let's try this video.

Provenance of the infrared Aguadilla footage is a bit murky. On the 25th of April, 2013, at the Rafael Hernandez airport in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico, an unknown object reportedly flew across a runway at low altitude, briefly delaying an airliner that was queued up for takeoff. The crew of an official aircraft, operated either by U.S. Customs and Border Protection, or by the U.S. Coast Guard (reports vary), saw it approaching before it reached the airport, and successfully tracked it with a thermal imaging pod. The object's apparent movements and behavior were bizarre, challenging known dynamics.

Here, Steemit is much kinder than MacDown. You just give the link and the video embeds itself in your post!

Earlier this week, I introduced myself.
