Total Crypto Market Cap Surpasses $500B for the First Time

All cryptocurrencies in circulation are worth over US $500 billion combined right now. It is evident Bitcoin is still the king of the hill, and that situation will not change whatsoever. Bitcoin owns almost 58% of them.

A new record was reached after the impressive growth of a number of crypto-currencies. Ethereum, Litecoin and Dash updated pricing records the day before, and attracted more attention. Ripple (XRP) climbed to new heights ($ 0.442) on Wednesday morning.
