Market Friday goes House Hunting!!

Always my pleasure, @janton! It is still in the running and I will be bringing the one I went to see last weekend to #MarketFriday. I love house hunting and should have been a realtor. :)

I love the hunt. Well, I also love pretty houses.

I envy that you had a business in Ohio. It is sooo very beautiful there and green. If it weren't for their winters, it might be perfect! I loved Texas, but, as luck would be, I was sent here to the Washington, DC area.

Which is actually a lot nice than people think. But, the people were the most amazing part of Texas. Oh, and the rodeo. :)

lol! Well, the politicians give D.C. a bad name! The winters in Ohio were pretty severe, that's the reason we moved. So you were moved by your career, sounds like the military! lol. I agree though, the hunt is so much fun. Some people hate it but I think that's the fun part!

Oh, I am well aware of how severe those winters are!!!! Yikes! But, on the other hand, having lived in New Mexico, Texas, Arizona and some parts of California, I can say that the heat almost killed me. :)

I am guessing there is no perfect place, but, the severe winters def are a turn-off! But, the fun part is the hunt!!!

Yes, indeed!!! :)

Have yourself a most splendid day!

Oh that's interesting that you've lived so many places, do you have a favorite one?

Washington, DC Barcelona, Spain Brugge Belgium and Florence, Italy, although I lived a few hours from there. :)

Holy smokes! Well I don't know anything about Belgium and D.C. surprises me but I know Barcelona and Florence are fantastic. Were you living all those places because of your career?

Absolutely. :)

But, DC is a wonderful place if you live right downtown, which I did and then I built a house on the other side of the business end of town. So, it has everything and the comfort of a peaceful neighborhood.

DC is in a banana belt, so it is warm until the end of October and we get snow, although rarely. But, one year, it snowed 24 inches!!! Hello! No problem. The metro closes down and all work closes down without public transportation. :)

It works.

Oh! the weather there is alot better than I thought it would be! lol. That's great.
