I'm continuing the Craft Fair presentation started a few weeks ago.
This is something I really love.
These are dry flowers on handmade paper. It's not easy to dry the flowers so they don't broke and keep their color. The prices are set accordingly.
Bookmarks made with the same technique. In the back there are earrings and necklace medals made by using dry flowers. Those were really expensive.
Wall decorations also made of dry flowers. The bottom right is edelweiss, Leontopodium nivale which is a protected flower in Romania, can't be collected or sold.
These paintings are made of eggshells!! Have you ever heard of such art" Have you ever seen such a painting?

What do you think? Is this art? I think it is :) This poppy painting is very nice.
Religious theme paintings, some keepsake boxes, some handmade gloves and a man dressed in traditional Romanian wear.
All kind of jewelry, bracelets, necklaces, rings and some spoons.
And finally a little mannequin dressed all in jewelry.

I would try a comment in the hope that I will not upset you ... With regard to the painting made of eggshells. I used to, years ago, keep the colorful eggshells left from Easter eggs. I was making small mosaics(I learned this from a decoration book).

Unfortunately, I don't have it anymore. I did these works in the 80's. Even if there were a few left, in 1992 my house burned completely with everything inside. I remember that the mosaics were flowers. I promise to do another as soon as possible, probably after Easter. I hope we can still be here.

Thank you! I must say that it is simple and easy to do. On a cardboard you make a simple drawing, a flower and then stick the pieces of colorful eggshells. It resembles the drawings made by children. They were not as elaborate as those in your market.

This may be one of the best of your markets! I absolutely love all of the artwork done with the dried flowers. Such delicate work made even more beautiful by the fragility of the task. It is so hard to work with petals when they are dried. These are masterpieces of art the way they are made!
