It's always nice to see these vendors they work from early morning to dusk not making a forture but they always have time for a quite chat and a laugh.

The profusion of food is mind-blowing as I go through your post! Week after week you tempt me and everyone who reads this with the most delectable fruits and the freshest vegetables. I mean, seriously!! Where do they get it all?? And yet, it still keeps coming. Whoever called America the land of plenty has never been to Thailand.

Even on the narrow streets of the town, where there are stores selling merchandise and clothing, dry goods etc, there is still more food being sold. I don't think you have taken us here before. I don't remember this setting. Different than normal, but, very awesome!

And those snake beans! Too cool. I have never had them before, but, I think you only need a couple to make a meal of them. The entire table where I saw the snake beans were covered with yummy green and big, fat carrots. Oh, my! So delicious looking.

Save me some of those perfectly ripe mangos! 30 cents for a large bunch of bok choy. Wow! I mean, Wow. Actually, the corn on the cob was expensive, but, one item out of thousands. I can do it. :)

Meat on a stick is my favorite, well, anything on a stick. I have no idea why, but, I love it. Are those bananas more like plantains? They look it an have a slight different taste than the regular ones. BBQ bananas?? I have never even heard of that!

Thank you for yet another culinary experience. It is almost like going on vacation. :)

I always look forward to these!

Damn have i not convinced you enough yet i thought you might have bought a ticket by now and be over here...hehe...i am sure you will do it in the near future.

Actually no i haven't taken you down this road before but there are so many set ups like this that i love because they are really for the local people but they love to see us foreigners walking through buying up and taking photos they are mostly not camera shy and love been in the picture.

One thing Thai's love to eat they are never short of anything they just keep producing growing veggies and fruit wherever they can walking in the local areas they all have veggies or fruit trees growing in there yards and they take them freshly to the markets to sell them but a lot of Thai's in the local areas just put them on a tables out front of there houses and other locals will come along and buy them even more cheaper then at the markets.

I do think they are plantains bananas i am not to keen on them ones they taste more like a flavor of a potato but i have noticed about 15 other different types of bananas here in Thailand much sweeter and that corn cob is actually cheaper it's 40c US per cob i calculated wrong.

Thank you so much for your lovely comment , resteem and tip much appreciated.

Have a great weekend and keep smiling :)

I knew I hadn't been there before! I will know the local area by the time I get there! Yes 40 cents is more reasonable. I just paid 5 for 1.3o as they are out of season, but I had to cook it my self!!! Of all the insults!

Thank you! You are always so generous with your words! I know you are already enjoying yours!

Well then it works out a lot cheaper buying them at 40c US , cooked up already no gas no electricity no cleaning up and no labor...hehe :)

you have a real fruit and vegetable paradise !!!! :) I can not guess what kind of fruit in the foreground the second photo? I watched your photos and now I'm going to eat because I was hungry looking at such a huge amount of yummy :))) Of course in my fridge there are no amazing things from rice, pumpkin and fried bananas, but I hope that I will find something edible :) I am comforted that last weekend we went for a walk and in the evening made kebabs with baked vegetables: Bulgarian pepper, sweet potato, onions, potatoes, zucchini. It was amazing delicious on a fire :) but we did not have corn, mango and much more (this is not the season now). I will not think about it :)))))

Thank you @tali72 we do have great choices here we never get bored of eating , sorry to make you hungry again....hehe..but not you have made me hungry also talking about kebabs i love them we have a whole area of different types of kebabs here in Thailand so you will feel at home if you ever visit Thailand...Cheers have a great weekend :)

Good grief! So many choices... I am lost - I want almost EVERYTHING!!! LOL... What a great job you did - collecting all the fruit, veggies and food from that market... Now I'm hungry again, right after dinner! :D

Thank you so much @ackhoo sorry to make you hungry again...hehe... but how can you not be it always has the same effect on me..lol :)

Hahahha.. I wonder how many items you bought when you went to shoot these... lol

I always take two backpacks with me one for fruits and one for veggies that's not counting what i eat on the way...hehe :)

Hahaha... that's kinda what I imagined... :D

it is a lovely a place.Nice market post

Thank you @mcsamm everything you need is right there awaiting you and nice and fresh :)

Whooaaa... I love to enjoy this kind of market @hangin 😉 it's been so long I haven't gone to the traditional market like this.. uuhhmm that pumpkin's really interesting. Hey.. have you ever tried to make mango salsa?

You should i love walking around these markets they are always interesting. No i haven't tried the mango salsa but i must one day i do think i will like it.

Thanks for dropping by my post :)

Simply the best mango salsa.. just cut the mango in cube shaped, add some cayenne peppers.. a dash of salt and if you like the onion too and lemon juice. Almost like pickles.. but why would we make a sweet mango into pickles😯 😂 when cayenne has give such a unique taste on the sweet mango?

I always like your #marketfriday post. Wonderful pictures and great stories too.

Thank you @cicisaja i have seen the Thai people eating mango salsa i can not eat it that way like you said we eat mangos because they are sweet and that's the way i like them :)

Yummy beautiful delicious vegetables! How I miss them! Great captures, @hangin!

Thank you @nolasco well you will have to get yourself back here some day...hehe :)

I will, for sure, my friend!

Don't forget to drop me a line then :)
