I always loved street fairs. When I was a child, I was looking forward to vendors get to the village and underload their wares, most of which were self-made products. Then I grew up, and sometimes also sold my handcrafts.

There are many handcraftsmen here but they can sell very hardly, because most of people are looking for cheap products. They do not matter how bad quality are those.

I agree even in the villages and towns around all I've seen is the sweet cotton and the China markets, the hand crafted items had two representatives on the edge of the market, I for one think people should be ashamed of letting their culture slip up into a Disney and Pop Vortex, but then again that can't really compete with real craftsmanship

These markets are so awesome, @Kalemandra! I love the handcraft ones and look forward to when they come to town here, although most are in the summer and some at the harvest festivals.

That brings back memories for me to as a kid i use to buy fruit and veggies from markets at a cheaper price and sell them in my local area stall to make a few pennies to buy my our little luxurious as then i wouldn't have to bother my parent's as we were not that well of and it was a big family. Love the little kid and his cute rabbit.
