Hello Dear Steemians,

Are you ready for MARKET FRIDAY initiated by our fabulous @dswigle? If not then you better hurry!!!

We are sharing markets from all over the world which is very fascinating and we would love to see yours too. So don't forget to take photos while you are shopping during the week and share them with us on FRIDAY.......don't forget to use tag #marketfriday and the creator's name.

Today I am sharing with you tiny speck of SQUARE ONE, the second largest shopping centre in Canada. This gives you an idea where I take most of my photos for MARKET FRIDAY, although, I usually don't have time to hang out there. I just get in and get out lol. The only reason why I stay longer now is because I am taking photos.

This shopping giant grew at least four times the size since I moved into this location back in 1993. Based on Wikipedia, the size right now is over 2,200,000 square feet (200,000 m2) of retail space more than 360 stores and services. It was opened in October 3rd, 1973. I didn't even know it had an Anniversary last week. Well Happy belated Birthday SQ1.

The area captured on my photographs is just the oldest section connected to the main entrance. Will see if I can go further next time and take some shots of the newer wings...................if I can walk that far lol.

Hello my dear Lena! This mall reminds me of Moroccan mall in Casablanca, it's so big, with a huge building, it's fantastic, very good for shopping, it has all the brand of the world.

WOW that is an impressive mall so big, and it reminds me thats an option for me for a Market Friday going to a couple of the Local Malls, and I can also get shots of my photos that are up in each of them LOL. I have been meaning to go see them for ages

What an amazing place this is, Lena! Is there possibly any store that they don't have???? I do like the nice clean look of their architecture. Very modern and appealing to these eyes.

I have to admit to mostly window shopping at these places nowadays. Everyone seems to have the same merchandise. Thank you for your wonderful entry! Upped

Honestly Denise, if there was no for Market Frida I wouldn't pay attention to these stores at all, lol.

But I am glad you like the overall look. I agree it is very well designed shopping mall. By the way, speaking of the architecture and design............when I was taking Interior Design back in 2000 - 2002, my drawing and rendering teacher was one of the designers who designed the first structure back in 70's.
