It's a boat? A car? A car boat?
Visitors must read all signs! Ok, i read them all ; )
Turns out the car - boat is just a car and doesn't go in the water. Back when i was a kid there were some car-boats you could go in the water with. I haven't seen one of those in a very long time. This one isn't for sale. They use it for shows and advertising.
Well! You sure took me by surprise! From the picture I just surmised that it was a bright yellow little speed boat and that excited me, especially with the bold colors. But then when we get to Long Beach Yacht Sales, I took one look at that and said a car? A boat? A car boat? Of course, I have never seen one of those and I hardly remember them except for a few escapades. I'm glad you took the time to read all the signs and hello? Do they think there was enough?
I was thinking that there wasn't really a good purpose for a car boat except for a little bit of Thrills, but I didn't look to see how much they cost and I was wondering if the Thrills would be worth it. Dash that. The Thrills are always worth it. Thank you so much for taking us on this interesting Adventure. You win! I would never have thought of this!

Hi ! Thank you very much. A little story behind the story. I was taking photos outside of a big construction site but i really wanted to go in the Shipyard where this place is located. So slowly kept backing up towards the door. Note- people can be very very suspicious about cameras and down right nasty out here in southern California - I saw the owner looking at me and walking towards me so i just calmly walked towards her smiling and saying hello and whatever other friendly nonsense about the construction across the street i could come up with. I have to do this all the time. I had a feeling she might have gotten angry at me very quickly and ordered me off the property if i wasn't super friendly.
It sucks i have to do this all the time even when i'm on public property
It's one reason i almost never have market Friday posts. The amount of crap from people is astonishing. Here's a thought though... if i was with a wife, girlfriend, daughter or son. I would be much less of a person to be suspicious of. They see an old guy with a safari hat and camera and just want to imagine all sorts of horrible things. Well there i went on a long boring tangent. Sorry. I just like your challenge so much and it's not so easy. PS i didn't mention the 2 biggest fanciest malls in Orange County that both threatened to lock me in some security room for wanting to take photos with my friend just walking around.

Oh, that is almost funny but that is too sad! I lived in the San Bernadino valley long ago and far away and I ran from California as fast as I could. They just have gotten so out of hand with their politics and everything else.
I am sorry that you have so much trouble getting shots. I have not ever had a porblem except once when I got yelled at in a flea market in Haiti. LOL
How appropriate.
But, for the most part, they are really nice to me. Oh, high-end malls. They probably thought you were casing the place! LOL
