Marketing Your Steemit Blog Page And Post; Action Oriented Strategy To Help You Improve #2 (Finding Enough Readers)

in marketing •  8 years ago

In my last post, i discussed about how to market your blog and now i would be sharing more light into the topic.

In Marketing, one of the key to success is finding enough customers that are willing to buy your product and services. Finding this customers make a difference between the failure and success of the business.

Find your steemit customers, it is needed

In the same way customers are needed on your steemit blog. These customers are your followers, they upvote you when they like the services you are rendering to them.

Your followers are your customers, they read your post even when it has left the new page. Some of them even go a little further to put you on auto upvote because they tend to like your services.

Do Not Beg For Customers That Will Not Buy Your Product

On steemit, this is common to newbies. They beg for followers who at the end of the day would not read their post.

Some steemians at 30 reputation have 1500 followers and 3 votes per post

Then i wonder, how they got such large followers; They get it either by Follow for Follow or Beg for followers. Doing either of the two doesn't guarantee you upvotes since most of them do not see value in what you post.

You can force a horse to the stream, but you cannot force it to drink water

What most steemian do after following you due to your continuous pressuring is to follow you. When they follow you, they will either unfollow you later or mute you so you look like you do not exist. With that even when you post 1000 post a day, you only get your usual 3 upvote from you and maybe two of the friends you invited to steemit.

WAY TO GET REAL FOLLOWERS TO UPVOTE YOUR WORK

WRITE QUALITY AND ORIGINAL POST

You are getting only 4 votes and you think nobody is seeing your post? well they are seeing it but most will not upvote because they do not see it as Valuable. You need to post things that would be of importance; for instance if i want to travel and not get missing, i would prefer to use @sweetsssj, @kus-knee and many other steemian who write travel journals instead of my GPS since i would the travel journals and have fun. This same thing applies to other steemian.

INTERACT WELL ON ANY OTHER STEEMIT RELATED COMMUNITY

So many steemian go to other steemit related community such as Steemit chat to spam users instead of interacting with them. Most users do not like spam and getting them follow you is not a guarantee that they would view or read your post.

COMMENT

Commenting has been known to be a magical wand for following. It has a major effect in the numbers of followers you get. When you give reasonable comments on post, you get enough followers and you attract a high traffic to your blog.

STOP FOLLOW FOR FOLLOW

One thing you should stop is the follow for follow sickness because It doesn't make a difference. You only end up having so many followers who would not go through your post.

With these, I believe you can get readers that will readily go through your post, upvote your work and probably resteem it.

You are so right my friend.
We must also remember that we learn here as we go along.
I never begged for a vote, but I did follow everyone back who followed me for like the first month or so.
I stopped doing it because I realistly can't read that many posts nor upvote them.

We should never beg anyone to vote us, but the whales should also help to vote others.
