A fun day swimming at the pool

Certain people find kids adorable and that was again proven recently. The kids have been going to the gym with me because they are still out of school for the summer holidays. They got an invite for a fun day at the pool from a very nice man who obviously found them irresistible. We have both been using that gym for ages but never said more than a polite greeting to one another. Then he saw my kids and boom, he became really nice and friendly. Only then did I discover that he was the owner of one of the cool hotels around and had really grown children too. I never knew he was that old, nor that he was so well to do. Everyone simply looks sweaty when working out at the gym...lol.

We had an incredibly great time and the hotel staff was very courteous and welcoming. The kids and I had the pool all to ourselves and boy, did we make some noise! We were splashing and screaming and playing like dolphins in the water for about 4 hours. It was a big deal trying to get the kids out of the pool, what with Barbie wanting to get all wrinkled so she could grow a mermaid's tail! The arrival of steaming hot plates of Chicken and Fries eventually saved the day and had the girls scrambling out of the pool like hungry Chihuahuas. It was a really cool day, thanks to our new friend.
