With the looming deadline of Eyd Kebir coming up on Friday ( the whole country goes on lockdown for over a week) we frantically zigzaged the medina from our Azbezt base to Djem al Fna. Mission was to sort the media and manpower to get the show off the ground. All is good and done at this hour, and fatigue has settled in. But the raw wool from Salé is there, pigments, stretchers, prints and the thousand details are now checked off the list. Preproduction at the workshop has started start in view of the first day of setup on Monday.
Feverish motorbikes zoom in the street loaded with ceremonial sheep shipped to their fate. Reminds me of a Doors song... 'Blood in the sreets in the town of New haven... '
